Clinical Leadership

The MediServices Health and Care Group Board is responsible for our long term sustainability and success.

The board works to ensure there is a clear short to long term strategy in both clinical and commercial areas. The board offers leadership and oversees implementation of strategies resulting in effective corporate and clinical governance systems. The board meets monthly and ensures our culture aligns with our strategy and values.

Raoul Pinnell

Chairman

In his career he has worked for Heinz, Nestle, Prudential, NatWest, Shell and the NHS.

He has learnt to master a new brief in different fields. He has been a trustee at Leonard Cheshire Disability and chair of the welfare to work charity: Careers Development Group. His involvement in the NHS has been as a non-executive director with The NHS Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the NHS Bexley Care Commissioning Trust and as chair of Bromley Healthcare a social enterprise delivering NHS and Local Authority community health and care services.

Andile Siziba

Director and CQC Registered Manager

Andile Siziba studied Neuroscience at Sheffield University before training in Neurophysiology at West Surrey Clinical Neurophysiology at St Peter's Hospital. Andile enjoyed further roles as a Specialist Clinical Physiologist at the Royal London Hospital part of Barts Health NHS Trust.

He also worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham as a Highly Specialised Clinical Physiologist working within the spinal monitoring team. Andile has an MSc in Epilepsy from Kings College University. His Msc project audited the first 100 patients to receive Home Video Telemetry in the UK under the mentorship of Dr. Brunnhuber. Andile is passionate about improving patient care, he founded MediServices in 2014 with the aim of improving access to Clinical Services.

Dr Adrian J Fowle

Clinical Governance Lead (Medical Director)

Dr. Fowle trained as an undergraduate at St Thomas's Hospital Medical School, London, where he also worked both in medical IT and physiology research, gaining experience of both new and traditional equipment and instrumentation.

He later trained in clinical neurophysiology at Kings College Hospital, London in one of the largest departments in the country. From 2002 – 2018 he led West Surrey Clinical Neurophysiology at St Peter's Hospital, part of ASPH NHS Foundation Trust. He held several audit, governance and leadership roles. He is passionate about patient care and was awarded a “Certificate of Excellence” by iWantGreatCare in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 in addition to hospital awards. In 2020 he completed a three year term as President of the British Society for Clinical Neurophysiology.

Anabela Ferreira

Operations Director

Anabela Ferreira has over 30 years’ experience in business development and management within both the private and public sectors.

Over the last 17 years, Anabela has been involved in shaping the landscape of enterprise provision within the Midlands and was involved in the management and delivery of a number of European Funded enterprise projects at a regional level before joining MediServices Healthcare as Operations Director.

Medical Advisory Committee

The committee is chaired by the Medical Director and supported by a Committee Secretary. The committee recommends changes in its Terms of Reference to the MediServices’s Board. The committee reports to the MediServices Board through the Medical Director.

The Medical Advisory Committee assists the Medical Director in ensuring clear governance structures are in place and assist in investigating any incidents and complaints.

This ensures that there are clear learning outcomes following any incidents that are presented to all clinical teams, which is used to drive continuous learning and service improvement. The Medical Advisory Committee links the MediServices Healthcare Board and its different clinical teams.
