Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Sonographer to join our expanding ultrasound team in East Midlands. This role is ideal for a recently qualified sonographer or an experienced healthcare professional with postgraduate ultrasound training who is eager to further develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic clinical environment. As there will be a focus on Gynaecological Ultrasound and experience with TV scanning is essential.

Salary: £45,000 – £48,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out ultrasound scans independently to a high standard
  • Write clear, actionable reports for each scan
  • Escalate findings quickly when needed
  • Take part in audit, feedback and improving how we work
  • Look after our equipment and stay clinically up-do-date.
  • Adhered to clinical protocols, safeguarding and infection control policies.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent) or currently completing training
  • Competency in General Abdominal and Gynaecology TA and TV Ultrasound techniques.
  • HCPC or NMC registration desirable
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, team collaboration, and continuous learning
